Hello and welcome to AFLSim Season 2 Awards Night. League admin Siege Morgan has a few words to say.

Well, good evening players and supporters alike. Season two has been one of many ups and downs. The season began with the near infallibility of the Rushed Behinds; nobody could defeat them, while the Bears also performed admirably to start the season. It became clear that the battle for the minor premiership was one of only two teams - the Bears and the Rushed Behinds. Marred by rule breaches, the Bears fell apart leaving the minor premiership to the Rushed Behinds - despite their late season fadeaway. The end of the season also saw the Bulls resurge, and their late form allowed them to make the finals by one point. Beating the Bears in the semi final, it set up a dream rematch of last season's grand final, won by an awesome performance from the Rushed Behinds in the rain.

After such an excellent season, it's time to end with a few awards. Throughout the night we will do a round recap and announce the umpires votes - with the award for league best and fairest to be named after the winner of this season. Inbetween rounds, we will announce the all-cricsim team, as well as present the Carson Medal, The Hunt Medal, The Quilty Award, The Glenn Archer Medal, The Goal of the Year award, The Brett Gemmell Award and the Jim Stynes Medal. I hope you enjoy the night.
