    Yeah, I haven't actually watched any NRL this season so I have no idea how players are actually going, hence the 'potentially' qualifier.

    It was more aimed at MF's usual "THEY'RE ALL JUST FORM JUNKIES" rants and how that specific defence of Thurston wouldn't be applicable here, given it is a team unashamedly picking solely on the basis of this year's form.

    Um, hence me not making any such argument on this occasion...

    Thurston's been better than Soward this year based on short term form, IMO.

    Josh Mcguire, Robbie Farah & Boyd Cordner are pretty significant outs in this team IMO.

    Can't say I've been that impressed with DCE this year either, he's just been way too loose. There was a string of tight games earlier in the season that Manly were involved in & he was dead set coming up with 1 or 2 absolutely horrendous decisions or poor executions at such crucial times. I think he's been really lucky to have played in such a successful side, that's not to say he's not a great player but he seems to escape a lot of criticism purely because Manly just win so often.

    Although tbf his performance against Canberra earlier this season alone almost demands his selection in the team of the season.
