Stricter Moderation in Serious Threads

With the season almost upon us, I thought I'd let it be known that we won't be tolerating quite as much absolutely rubbish feuding on here, as we'll ideally have something else to talk about.

CricSim has always been a place where you can speak your mind and, if you happen to be a tosser, maliciously attack someone's personal life as a "valid" retort to a point or piece of banter. We'd like to maintain that freedom, which is why we won't be punishing:
- Standard CricSim-related banter in any threads
- Any sort of banter in rubbish threads that have no real purpose

However, in threads that have meaning - especially simming threads, but also music/sport/alcohol/entertainment threads to an extent - we want to provide a haven for people to actually have a conversation. As such, we'll be looking to punish people for shit personal attacks in serious threads. If you want to comment on someone's sexual experience, weight, penis size, partner's appearance or anything like that, you're still free to go and find a pointless thread in the pub to do it in.

The infraction points for some offences have been changed slightly, we've added in a couple of new ones and the points loading system has been changed also. Basically this is a warning particularly to Fiery, Theo, Boobidy and any other cunts in that particular group of shit cunt fighting to be aware of what thread you're in. Because if you keep it up you'll find yourselves banned for ages.

Now Theo's original post wouldn't be allowed on many forums, but it's basically just inter-club CricSim banter so it's fine. Fiery's reply is absolutely terrible though and it's in a CricSim Central thread so he'd be copping an infraction if I'd started this thread a few hours earlier.

 

If you want to call someone a fat virgin with an ugly wife, the European football thread probably isn't a good place to do it.

 

I've given you enough information for you to go on now; if you're too stupid to follow instructions then you can just get infractions. *shrugs*
