Yeah, really not convinced so far. I don't mind the idea of skill caps - it gives it something different and as long as you know that from the start, it's fine. However, the Skill names/types - the fact you can hover to see the hierarchy in the squad screen but not in the match orders screen. The fact that when you hover in the squad screen, it always seems to obscure the column headers makes it very difficult to work out who your best players are. I also don't mind the idea of batting/bowling being broken out into multiple skills - that makes things more interesting.
OK, signed up. Seems my best player is 19 and has 2 relevant talents and potential caps of about Champion on 2 of his primary skills. Pity he's a medium pacer. Going to take a while to get things but I'll figure it out. Also, out of the 5 scout players, none average below 50 with the ball or over about 25 with the bat, are you fucking kidding me?

t20 3.3 in Sri Lanka currently has Me, Captain, Mariner and the rest is bots. The Cricsim league is definitely forming there. Don't think I have any of you in the other 2 competitions, yet. Oh, and what were his averages? Just to get a rough idea of what might make a good pull, that guy seems pretty decent
Browser based multiplayer games with persistent worlds will tend to start off worse than their previous iterations
Far greater player skills and talents for one I'd bet the ME is much better too given the bloke who's running it.
Yes, the FTP ME has its problems, but I don't see why you think R0b1et can outdo Ashario TBH On a separate note, does this game have anything like advanced orders?
You have much more latitude to do something better with a new game tbh. Any time Ashario tries to change something, you can guarantee there'll be a group of self-interested managers to shout it down. That problem doesn't exist with a new game. EDIT: I'm most disappointed he hasn't run with a fortnightly calendar to introduce a sensible First Class option. That really would represent a vast difference to Battrick/FTP. I'm not really seeing anything new here thus far.
From the looks of things you only have one coach and if you choose to try and make your coach better he can't train anyone is that right?
