So what's everyone planning on doing? Personally thinking of selling on all my good players and just levelling up coaches for a while and saving up money for when they're capable of just training up decent youngsters to see how that goes. I'd love to go for early promotions but I'm not really sure how to do that early on in this sort of game, and waiting for 2-3 seasons may be an OK option (If lower levels than Div III are introduced, it'll probably force my hand though.)
No one can buy for two weeks It's a new game so no ones got any money an way Training a coach a little bit takes a week so I would be an incredibly dire process
At first glance, this game looks challenging. I'm not sure anymore that I hate the skill cap thingy. Lack of 'overall' (batting/bowling/fielding) ratings is more of a challenge than a problem with the game. The rules page could've been much more elaborative I think. There's no clear indication regarding which trainings are best at which age. Not really sure what the 'Pace' training does. Apparently it increases pace of a bowler. But can a medium bowler become fast medium through pace training? Not sure. And, what are those golden stars in the coaching page (skill to potential gap? Not clear.) Edit: I'm off to the forums to search for answers.
http://stumpedgame.com/player.php?Player=16784 that bloke's a nice player of mine, I think. Not my best but probably most valuable bat. http://stumpedgame.com/player.php?Player=16801 this one probs my most valuable bowler.
On pure ability I have a 16yo who is my best bat and my best bowler. Probably has shit potential though.

Either i've been very lucky or you've been unlucky Skip Two of my allrounders look better at batting that your first guy and bowling than the 2nd guy
I'm not on atm, just on my phone on cricsim. I didn't know about potential when I first looked aat my team, it was a major skim.
