Suggestions & Improvements to AFL Sim

    So, we've had two rounds done on the new sim, I'd just like to hear if people think things are going alright, or could be improved (if so, how)

    Would also like to hear any changes to the format or sim that people would suggest, just any feedback.

    Is this how the season is going to work in respect of having just 4 teams? Pretty quick seasons I guess? But if we can attract some AFL fans to the forum - especially from WA, SA or Tas then it'll be worth its weight in gold.

    Also, I personally rate using consistent naming across all the sims, so just use people's Cricsim simming name would be my suggestion.

    The first season I envisage as a bit different to those that will follow. I'm going to rapidly sim a 2 month season with 2 games a week now, to generate interest and avoid boredom. I then plan to move to one game a week after - with 4 human teams (the 4th may possibly be in season 2, or 3. Unsure). I plan to try and expand to 6 teams (120 players necessary) By season 4-5 I'd hope. A reserves comp wouldn't happen ever with this as it'd require 40 players per team, minimum. That's too many I reckon so just expanding teams is a better idea.

    I reckon once it's an established league it'll be worth it, definitely in terms of attracting fans to the forum.

    Yeah I wanted to do that too - but I didn't want to annoy people. I'll change that all for season 2.

    I'm thinking state of origin will be South v North. South being WA, SA, Vic, NZ and North Being NSW, QLD, GB.
