Suggestions & Improvements to AFL Sim

I can it's just really hard to get through and it's pretty big. I'll put it in with code.

 

If I don't - it takes up so much space it probably won't load on a phone.

People want me to put it in code, people don't want me to. Either way, someone's annoyed

 

Yeah but I've made about 40 modifications to it.

 

And am continuing to modify it on the side (keeping the same version for the whole of this season and changing to my new one for next season) as I see errors and changes that could be made.

 

You're not near as bad as your performance suggests - you should perform better sooner rather than later

 

The DT scores on TAE are manual I think - the sim doesn't do them. The votes I withhold until the EOS and post them in an awards gala.

List of Confirmed Changes for Season Three
- Implementation of Post Count. It should only be about 15-20% of how good your player is, however. I don't want to see spam*

- Implementation of Team Sub-Boards*

*Provided Cribb holds his word.

- Harsher penalties on (repeated) non-submission

- Highlighting/Bluing goals in the commentary, Making Red the substitutions

- Expanded season, full pre season competition

- Full Cumulative season stats, weekly.

Possible Changes
- Implementation of a Supercoach scores. Would be very time extensive and I've begun working on it.

-> Going from that, a fantasy AFLsim competition as a result. If someone committed to help me run it it'd be pretty definite.

- New team to replace the Bears if they don't get their act together. Could see the return of AFLsim allstars and just fold the club (hint, hint bears. get your act together)

- AFLSim Cup.

- Match series v another forum. Almost went ahead last season but fell through. I'm actively looking for something like this to reward the best/actives.

Anything to suggest, I'm all ears. Constantly looking to improve the sim/competition.

I'm happy with how the seasons gone so far, activity a little issue but with subboards etc. I can imagine more team spirit and interest, hopefully. We've almost got as many posts as soccersims board which is gun. Hopefully we get some more signups too. Currently have had 88 players take the field this season so around 90 contracts. If we get 100 contracts next season there'll be a 5th team hopefully for S4, and a more complex injury system.

Any suggestions, or criticism I'd love to hear. Cheers
