I'm pretty keen to bring in a Pom or someone with a lot of fc knowledge other than Australian. Otherwise my side's gonna become very Australian based when we get to the last few picks.
Wouldn't be the worst tactic anyway as the Sheffield Shield is definitely the strongest competition other than Tests. In fact it's rated higher than performances against a few of the Test teams, and I don't just mean Bangladesh.
Well there are 16 current owners... - Lordeman. So 15 guaranteed as far as I understand it. Then there's Callum who is guaranteed one. Then others who have registered interest are Verigoat, Hughesy, Das and Hunter. Rob mentioned it on Facebook but he didn't actually clarify if he wanted one or not. Not sure why the likes of You&Gaz or Denton/Nino wouldn't want to split. Denton/Nino is more understandable as Jas isn't all that active anymore But you and Gaz are both active and have decent enough knowledge... only problem would be splitting the squad.
I'd be keen to go with Lordeman, gives a starting point instead of starting from scratch. Assuming he'd have me.
Why is Lordeman giving it away? His team massively under-performed this season. Would've been interesting to see them go around again.
Assuming Gaz gets his own team, I could do with someone who knows their shit about Australian FC Cricket.
Going to try and get a team on my own, I think. And plus, me and Ged would just dominate far too much to go together.
