    SeaFlacks = Seahacks = Seahawks

    Dude I am confused.

  2. Cribbage RG Cribb

    It's unclear. Could either mean us or the Pumas; probably the Pumas though. :p

    Oh yeah, that does sort of make sense. He probably has joined the Pumas then. I just assumed Seahacks but Flacks because Flack runs the sim.

    A history of the Seahawks

    Entering the competition from the start, the Seahawks have ultimately been the underdogs since the first time the puck was hit early in season 1. Although they did make the semi-finals in Season 1 unexpectedly, no one did expect them to go any further and indeed they didn't. By the time Season 2 came around, President Hughes had signed a number of major players in the hope of improving on results and as it turned out the results went quite the other way and had their worst season two date not making the finals despite finding a few pieces of gold such as Will Robinson and Kelvin Fung who both made it to the rep season after some end of season form. The Hawks main problem was their inability to score goals and a lot of the time it was about scoring goals and not defensive deficiencies as Shane Masters and James Hughes, both representative players very rarely letting goals slip. The forwards had a little more trouble completing their tasks until much later in the season when it was all too late.

    Now Season 3, a season of promise is upon us and only time will tell as to what happens. Will the history books be reformed forever or will it simply be another short chapter in what so far has been a disappointing start to the Cricsim Ice Hockey Sim Competition for the Seahawks. In what has been their biggest recruitment drive thus far, the Hawks have lost a substantial amount of players either to new club the Wolves or to rival clubs who have been circling with interest. Defenders, O'Neill and Read who were both reasonably unused during season 2 have become free agents while Astele, Richie and Shane Masters, the Seahawks season 2 player of the year, have all moved on to greener pastures.

    These guys will be missed but they have been replaced with Rob Cribb another top quality goal keeper, Travis Webber a up and coming defender and Jameson McGrath a proven defender. As well as strong recruitment, the Hawks have also been strong in the retention area with Kelvin Fung agreeing to going around again in season 3, strengthening the forwards. The recruitment for season 3 isn't over yet as the Seahawks are circling around some forwards at the moment in an attempt to improve goal scoring chances, the Hawks are hoping to keep Will Robinson as one of the Left Wingers but are also after another as a safety barrier. Heath Davis also joined the club and will be hoping for a big season under a new president.

    Only time will tell what will happen in Season 3 for the Seahawks.
