Line-up has been sent in. Everyone gets a fair bit of game time, the only two players to get the full game is Rob and Fung IIRC. Trying out Gemmell in a different role as well as at centre. Just to see how it goes.

Now the purporse of these trials will be to work out which of Davis and Gemmell is the number 1 and which of Jameson and Webber is the number 1. Obviously I am a walk-up start for obvious reasons (not just cause I am Pres either)

Just check it out. Either way you are going to get game time but its just a matter of deciding which player should be the one who gets the most time. We wants the Hawks to win. I tell you what, the side looks decent this year.

Yeah bru. It's the right call - there's no need to justify yourself.

  5. Hughesy JM Hughes

Would I need to justify myself if I was to sign Rego? :p I kid I kid

  6. Fungus K Fung

    Coolios.

  7. Hughesy JM Hughes

You're a walk-up. There is no competition unless the Gemmell experiment works.

  8. Fungus K Fung

What are you doing with Gemmell?

  9. Hughesy JM Hughes

For the first game, I have him playing on the wing for a period. Just an experiment. Don't think it will work though.

Was my suggestion when we weren't sure if we'd sign another active winger. We got one in the end though didn't we? Farny?

  11. Hughesy JM Hughes

Yeah it was. I figured I might as well try it in a pre-season match anyway. Just for interest sake. In reality the only two positions that will change between periods will be D and C. And if Farny or Fung go down we may need them a C to play on the wing anyway.

  12. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah fair enough; give it a run I say.

First page has been updated with all of the game's stats. Considering counting pre-season performances towards the POTY points at the end of the season.

Farny had a great game, by the looks. What's PIM again?

penalty in minutes? Time spent in the box

  16. Hughesy JM Hughes

Yeah he did aye. I wasn't really sure what to expect with him. Had never really seen his name in the rep teams or anything like that. Good to have him on board for sure.

    And Jabba's right.

Sent in the next round line-up for the pre-season matches. The first period line-up is what I am believing is the strongest line-up at the moment. The only one I am having trouble deciding is between Webber and McGrath.

    You'll lose anyway

    I can still hope... :(
