The Tigers football in 05 is immensily better than the Eels, it was clinical, structured and they came out with a plan to play with flair and and a lot quick movement. The Eels is based on luck, even as said by Daniel Anderson. The Eels just throw flukey offloads and they stick.

    Awen Guttenbeil, Monty Betham?

Were decent back in the day. But I really don't think that they'd cut it...

Ali and Simon have it over Awen, and Kevin Campion provided so much more than Monty Betham did any day.

all this talk of how good wingers where has brought to bring in two awesome New Zealanders that have played for Bradford and that are in my team.

Jack McLean - 63 tries in 1951-52 season in 46 games, A Total of 261 in 221 game in 6 years.

Lesley Vainikolo - 148 tries in 152 games, including 6 against hull and another 3 5 Try hauls. He won Super League twice, Challenge Cup once and 3 World Club Challenges.

And i know everyone will go on about being superior league and all that bollox.

Sorry, I entirely forgot that we were picking our clubs best ever tryscorers. Carry on.

Well when you are looking at backs, they are logical stats to look at.

You've got to consider how much more highscoring the modern game is though, and the differing role that some positions, particularly fullback, play.

I can honestly say with his fitness levels and the improvement between these days and the players of old he would carve up if you put him back 10/20 or 30 years. There have been huge advancements in the strenght, agility, speed and skill a player needs to play at the top level since the old days.

Also I fail to see where anyone has pointed out a better backline for Parra yet?

Will you **** off with your bias bullshit. The Tigers team of 05 punched well above there weight. If you want to play that game the Eels team of 01 bar 1 game showed they have the quality to beat ANY team to come since then even the current Storm team.
