Posts Beatles related have got me wanting to really get into them. Always known of them and a bit of their history but musically I haven't really heard a lot. Any particular album to start with or just go from the start?

MF I churned through a couple of Chomsky books whilst away on holidays, one was 'At war with Asia' and the other 'How the world works' (was basically a summary of some of his older radio talk backs and writings.)

Really like his stuff and I seem to remember you being quite the chomskyer, any texts of his you'd reccommend in the way of US foreign policy and general political talks? Preferably a bit more modern as the at war with Asia stuff is from the 70's and the other book was in the Clinton years.

I reckon the years of watching the Cowboys in the past show some attacking flair have made me appreciate good defence a lot more. (regarding in the Origin discussion)
While I like good attack and all, if it means the defence is shot to bits every game then fuck that. I think Queensland needs balance really, we got the guys who can score plenty of points but the defence needs a massive lift. Games particularly in Origin are won more on tries saved as cliché as that may be to say.

I can see Queensland playing with real spice in Game 2. Think Gallen's real mistake was also the fact prior to that Queensland looked disinterested, now they seem like they will come out firing in Game 2. Finished the game stronger in the second half.

Not a good analyst of the game but Queenslands attack to me was really shit because at times they weren't even running onto the ball for set moves, it looked stop and start and they showed no energy.

Hadn't thought of it that way. The entire QLD spine have been lacklustre in form the last month or so at club level so that is a good way of putting it. I hope QLD are ready to ambush them having had the media slaughter them.

The acting is just superb. I see she has been nominated for an award already and rightly so.

Season finale coming up this week and I believe it's been renewed for a second season which is nice. I still have concerns over the longevity of the show and I feel like it will eventually jump the shark.

All in all I'm really enjoying it thus far, I've recommended it to a bunch of people but they've yet to bother. Pretty much you're the only person I know that watches it.
