Well it's a risk because Leilua drops a lot of ball. 18 errors in 11 games. And he's liable to make poor decisions in defence. Frankly, I don't think it matters a great deal who plays in the centres with regard to scoring points. You can have Kenny and Ettingshausen out there and it won't mean shit if the halves and Moylan aren't creating anything.

Bird and Leilua may be able to create opportunities from nothing at club level but they're not Inglis. In Origin you just don't see a centre do it reliably very often at all.

Leilua is a complete moron. Would never select him.

Haven't read the story but there's a headline saying Cordner could be out for the season. Big loss to the Blues and Roosters if so. Have to admit it was nice seeing all the retards on League Unlimited eat their words in the City/Country match and Game 1 after watching him play so well. Why they don't rate him but want Jackson is beyond me.

Bird is a must if Dugan is out IMO. Leilua is still a bit derpy at times for me to have full confidence in him despite being a beast at club level but Bird is all class. I'd consider him even if Dugan wasn't out tbh.

Yeah but Bird is a centre only IMO. Not a fucking bench utility

    Moylan
    Mansour
    Leilua
    Bird
    Ferguson
    Austin/Reynolds (A. Reynolds)
    Maloney
    Tamou
    Farah
    Woods
    Bird
    Frizzell (Jackson)
    Gallen

    Reynolds/Austin
    Cartwright
    Klemmer
    James/Fifita (Frizzell)

Brackets acknowledge players that will definitely be there in Daley's side but I don't want a bar of.

Yeah I more or less agree with this. Bench utility should be able to play hooker.

I personally think it's ludicrous that we're contemplating Dugan in the centres at all. There are so many better, pure centre options than Dugan. Like I said a while back, if Dugan and Jennings are our centres we might as not have wingers.

Anyone but Peachey for the utility spot and we're off our bloody dials.

Daley's gonna drop Walker apparently. Guess he got sick of defending the indefensible use of an indefensible selection of a non-utility/shitcunt.

 ah Loz you hopeless cunt. It's going to be Bird apparently.

I think Daley knows his neck is on the line if we lose this series. Hopefully it makes him wise up about his shit cunt selections.

Jack Bird would be even more useless as the bench utility than Walker IMO.

lol. I agree with you to a degree about his value as a utility but seriously, lol.

I'm pretty well convinced Trent Hodkinson is the best fit for the NSW 7 at this stage, with Peachey or Austin as the utility, Bird centre.

  14. Tartmaster AJ James

Bird at centre, fuck off Jorris, Austin as utility.

So we just need Thurston, Scott, Morgan, O'Neill and Myles to get through this weekend unscathed and we'll have the same 17 as the previous game.

    Thats only happened five times in Origin history out of a possible 70 opportunities. NSW 1985 (1-2), QLD 1995 (2-3), NSW 1996 (1-2), NSW 1996 (2-3), QLD 2013 (2-3). And it's 5 wins from 5 games.

A decision on who will take Myles's starting spot hasn't been made. I'd imagine it'll be McGuire but this is the way it's been named. McGuire starting and Lillyman off the bench, as much as I like Myles's, is probably stronger if anything given the way he's been playing.

  18. Julian BJ Taylor

    Yeah stronger team with Lillyman

  19. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Just need to get rid of Thaiday now.

lol yeah. Gavin Cooper is on standby for Thaiday. Would be so good to see how he'd go on the left with the old JT/Coops combination instead of Thaiday. EWS would be all over that FTS market :p
