2024 NRL Season

I rate Fifita as a player but my biggest concern is not so much that Fifita isn’t going to come but more so that we have 2-3m worth of cap space which we are required to spend by the laws of the game next year and Fifita IMO was the only top tier talent available on the market.

My concern is that we end up locking ourselves into some 3yr deals with a bunch of mid-tier talent.

 

$2.80 tonight for Sea Eagles seems generous.

 

Geez that was a tough watch, even had to end with a phantom head high tackle to decide the game.

I’m not sure if I really dislike Todd Smith as a ref or if he’s just a symptom of where the game has been heading for a while but he just has no feel for the game.

 

Coulnd’t believe Panthers were $2.30 going into this game, can’t remember the last time they weren’t favourites and rightfully so.

But admittedly never saw a 28-0 half time lead…

 

Pretty sure they came in underdogs vs us earlier in the year and ended up winning that one as well.

 

For a top of the table clash it's hard to remember such a one sided game. I was expecting it to be a low scoring game.

Been a really odd round too, 5 out of the 6 winning teams this week have scored over 40pts.
