I really like the idea of dates for broadcasting. Means people do not need to ask all the time when their game will be and could well bring some of the more inactive club members on more regularly, even if it is only because they know they will be playing. Cribb you mentioned about all-rounders measuring up closer to specialists than previously. Now I understand how that would work for bowling or batting all-rounders as that is obvious but how would it work for genuine all-rounders? Would we just be slightly closer to both. So say you gave 5 bowling points (not saying use you use points as such) to bowling all-rounders and 5 batting points to batting all-rounders, would a genuine all-rounder get like 2.5 on each? If that makes sense.
Good move Cribb. Scheduling, while it sounds sooo unlike Cribb, will hopefully make simming more active, plus with the activity idea, it might make me more gun.
At least my ranking may go up. Although that's because most of the n00bs that joined in recent times aren't Aussies.
All the changes sound good. What I like about it is that it promotes continuous activity without, hopefully, the spam and whinging we usually see. Well thought through IMO.
All allrounders (batting, bowling and balanced allrounders will be better batsmen and better bowlers. I should stress though that this is only going to apply to one day cricket.
I like the idea of dates of it all happening. As said previously, will stop everyone asking when simming will happen. Should be good to see how it all works out.
Out of interest Cribb are you selecting both NSW OD teams or will someone else do the team you are not in?
Sounds awesome. Really looking forward to the OD comp seeing as I fit into the group of people who are active but don't post much.
