Sigh. Plenty of people die each day, many of them didn't have a chance to ever live a proper life. Amy Winehouse had plenty of chances and ruined her life, so I hardly think she deserves our deep condolences like you seem to think..
Yeah AWTA. She had people around her that tried to help her, like her dad. She had the means to get herself sorted out and she was very talented. But she time after time decided to just go back to the drugs and her wasteful life. People like her piss me off so much.
Absolute bullshit IMO. I agree that it's no more of a tragedy that she died than the average Joe dying just because her profession happened to be high profile, but to say she doesn't deserve condolences is completely out of line IMO. It's hardly like she was a mass-murdering pariah; she was just a troubled soul, and it's sad that she died.
Sure, it's sad that she died. However, nobody gives condolences when the average Joe dies. So what is MF expecting?
Whenever I hear someone died, I give condolences, tbh. Only in very exceptional circumstances would I not consider it sad or worthy of such, and "she brought it on herself" certainly isn't one.
As much as it's never really a good thing for someone to die, in this case who gives a fuck. She's the one who fucked her life up, she's the one who didn't get help, she doesn't deserve sympathy or condolences. Her family does, but not her.
lol, Blake. Who are you to judge how she lives her life? She probably (definitely) more fun on the rack in the last 5 or so years you'll have in your entire life.
There are plenty of occasions when it's a good thing that somebody died. Plenty of people deserve to die. Who did she hurt? What egregious trespass did she inflict on others? She over-indulged on substances which probably meant she had psychological issues. She didn't seek help? Neither do a lot of the teenagers who get bullied online and then end their own lives. That's not an argument. Unless of course you don't think they deserve your condolences either.
I knew someone would say that. I never said she'd hurt anyone. She can live her life however she wants, it's her life. However I've not gonna feel sorry because some drug addled nutjob died. Teenagers getting bullied and shit is completely different.
Why should I? And if you can't see the difference between being bullied and drugging yourself up then you have problems.
