James Cameron never solely writes a film. Aliens was written by a fair few people. Terminator his big break out role also had a co-writer.
He tends to do the screenplay himself, though. Gets help with the story, yes, but his films are always filled with the same cliches. Avatar and Aliens, in particular, completely lack originality.
You do realise most of the cliches in Aliens exist because it actually started those cliches. First proper big thing to do space marines for example.
That's what's so awesome about it. It created coedes and conventions of the genre. Same with the original Die Hard.
Yes I do, but that doesn't stop them from being cliches. In fact, starting them in the first place in annoying in itself.

^^^^^^^^ Best call yet. Desperado. The Good, The Bad And The Ugly isn't actually a sequel, but its the third in a series. One of the best films ever IMO.
