    Good good. Exactly what I do. If I start with $20 I usually bet $4-$5 each then it goes up to $10, $15 and $20, with a bit of going up/ down in between obviously. By the $20 each bet stage I'm usually at the point where I'm looking to withdraw and starting again.

    I don't follow anything but NBA so wouldn't have a clue. The fact they only play once a week? Makes things a bit harder - form etc. Isn't quite as obvious and I'd suspect the style of play is different.

    no, that's not how expected value works. say you make 5 bets of $100 and expect to lose $5 on that bet if you made it infinite times, but you actually won $100 on those bets, you weren't +ev because you won.

    I know how EV works. I'm not saying I am actually a +EV bettor necessarily, just the evidence so far can only suggest that I am or incredibly lucky. I dunno what sample size of bets is necessarily reasonable to start justifying that the probability of winning is in my favour.

    Nearly 800 bets you would think is a large enough sample to start saying it's not a one off but then I don't really know when it comes to sports betting.

    Coffs Harbour; Race 6, #3 Villamill.

    Comes back to the North Coast from races at Doomben and the Gold Coast. Last two starts after mid stint mini spells (like it has here) have been a 1st at Grafton and a 2nd at Eagle Farm. Ran 3rd at Doomben over this distance about 4 weeks ago. I don't know much about the apprentice jockey though, treichel normally rides it.

    Won $200 on tuesday on the horses and another $200 on wednesday.

    Currently took $10 upto $86 today after starting half way through most of the races. Hopefully i can make it upto $100 before the last bet.

    Lost only $20 of my own money during the $400 stint
