    On his penalty idea, IIRC fielding is activity + SWPC, so could you theoretically punish batsmen that keep with an activity cut for the match? I know you said the keeping ratings don't mean squat, but reducing their fielding ability would mean more dropped catches, more byes etc which is expected from a non-keeper being put behind the stumps.

    But vCash isn't really an incentive it's not worth anything.

    Unless you wanted to implement some like you can buy a better bat - increases batting skill slightly. Buy better shoes - increases bowling or some shit like that. Buy training sessions etc.

    If you don't pay for sessions you skill slowly declines.

    Not exactly the most amazing ideas I don't think.

    Cribb didn't want to implement anything that would affect simming, but he wanted to have some kind of fun thing to play with in regards to signing contracts. So it will stay worthless, but will just be some fun to have/bragging rights/e-penis thing IIRC.

    Cricsim test matches should increase in number and be spread across the season. Like one game every 3 rounds or something?

    Ahhh, the ol' Test Matches. I believe I turned eligibility to play for CricSim XI and instead played for New Zealand. Batted with Sinclair. Cribb was mad jelly.

    It has been discussed in other threads before, but it isn't in any of the OP's list.

    Would there be any option to shift your role 1 level either way from batsman->Allrounder->Bowler?

    So changes aren't taken lightly, obviously there would need to be heavy restrictions on the length of the cooldown period on any other switches, if another movement would be allowed in the 1st place.

    Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. If you don't select a wicket keeper in the match, ITC makes the highest ranked fielder keep wicket. If I decrease the fielding of the nominated wicket keeper, he won't keep wicket and someone else will.

    Again though I should stress that things like Downes getting a fielding score of over 1000 while keeping exaggerates how well the guy kept. It compares him to the other fielders rather than accurately supplying a wicket keeping score. The lowest fielding rating you can give a wicket keeper is 30, and the highest fielding rating you can give a non-keeper is 27.

    Nah, a salary cap means vCash. What a lot of people mean when they say "salary cap" is actually "quality cap" whereby players are assigned values and you can't exceed it overall at your club. A salary cap would merely involved club vCash finances and the ability to sign players with it, restricted at a certain amount.

    A quality cap will never, ever be happening. A salary cap will not be happening in Season 12.

    One would assume he wants the best team available selected and not have the pitch conditions affecting the selection process. Ie for City you'd assume we'd have a pitch very much tailored to spin bowlers. If I got injured the pitch would make you more inclined to pick Incey over Crowley regardless if Crowley is performing much better in BS.

    Oh do you need me to do something officially about that? It's officially rejected for Season 12. So, don't even bother with that. If I see you reference the club in a Season 12 context I'll ban you, rape your mother, torture your pets etc etc.

    By salary cap I always meant vcash terms.

    But vcash simply isn't valuable enough, there needs to be some perks to having high amounts of vcash.

    True. If we had a salary cap as things stand we'd just have the more loyal members be fine with being paid peanuts to allow their club to spend more on players.
