Definitely! Each player has individual ratings but the team is what matters so I'm just checking that teams are balanced well. Yeah, I won't be, trust me. Y'all shouldn't worry about me getting a competitive advantage either given the ratings seriously are common sense + I haven't considered them; take my word for it - look at how I've drafted thus far anyway. That and overall to a degree is bullshit. if I increase Daniel Menzel's ruck score from 25 to 45, his overall rises from 72 to 74. It's a general calc for each player so specific attributes are what matters. Yeah of course I'll share it! s'long as nobody plagiarises I'll be fine. I will take measures within the program itself to prevent, or more punish plagiarism ftr. I'll have a thread in here for proposed edits and changes and I'll add them in to the core database. Petty editing is pretty simple on FFFX but the serious stuff is still simple when you work it out but incredibly time consuming and difficult without prior knowledge. I've developed a system & spreadsheets which make life very easy for me so a 2 hr edit for you should only take me 10 mins etc.
Skip, are you saying once you hand out the database you don't want anyone playing around with it themselves? Also, there should be a thread FFFX 2013 roster - will draw alot to the site. Is there a way where you could make the thread viewable to those who have signed up/posted in the thread?
He's 76. I thought that was rather generous. When I scaled down your ratings, Menzel's rating was actually 77.6 (rounded to 78) so it's not far off where you (on a relative scale, completely) rated him.
I was thinking (spoke to cribb) about hosting the file on cricsim once it's released to bring traffic here. You guys can edit it fine just don't redistribute and any 'sensible' edit you should let me know so I can update
Yeah, pretty low for Menzel imo. Yep - brilliant idea. Although you don't want people just signing up, downloading it then pissing off. Which is bound to happen, so its about finding a way to prevent that. WAG. EDIT: Whitetext0wned
