Have you noticed just how many of QLD's props are actually wingers? Retzel, Miokovic, Hunt & Nova are all wingers for their first or second preference IIRC
You only even get mentioned for things like this because people can't be ****ed to check up to see if you're as good as you say you are. I actually don't think I should play, I'd slot Wilson in there, or maybe even just go with the one hooker and have Robertson as the utility.
Haha yeah well Nova isn't but the rest are. It never made sense to me why people would do that. I think Big Man is another one who did the same. I guess it works for some.
I'm a better utility than Robertson. Just look at origin last season, I came off the bench and ****ing dominated.
It's been okay, but yeah not great. Myself starting and Wilson coming off the bench would be a good combination IMO but it'd be stupid to leave Izett out as he's combination of my defence and Wilson's attack, pretty much. I'd go with either: 8 Weaver 9 Izett 10 Miokovic 11 Green 12 Parker 13 King ------------ 14 Delonge 15 Roberston 16 Read 17 Wilson or 8 Weaver 9 Izett 10 Miokovic 11 Green 12 Parker 13 King ------------ 14 Storer 15 Read 16 Delonge 17 Robertson Suppose Origin would count for a fair bit in this anyway.
Yeah, Storer was one I was considering. I am also not sold on Izett playing 80 minutes. Over the 3 seasons I have found that he has been more dominant when a hooker has been there on the bench to replace him so if I was to pick out of the two, it would be the one with Wilson. The good thing is that there are plenty of options. The backline is the pain in the ass though. Besides the halves and Bots. In terms of Origin especially, I have it the worst. Lordeman has hardly any options to go with, I have all of these wingers that are exactly the same to choose from.
Lozzana. He was an absolute gun actually. Surkleton didn't go too badly off the bench last season, either.
So this team is actually going to play games... sorry I wouldv'e read the whole thread but I can just imagine it being Boobidy talking himself up from page 2 onwards.
