Really like 5e. Only really read through the rules of other editions so can't directly compare, but its worked really well for my group. Quite easy to pick up
I still prefer 3.5/pathfinder to 5, but there are some really good things in 5th. I like how advantage/disadvantage simplifies things in terms of time sinks and i really like inspiration. I find the skill system very boring though, and the way they've done feats seems like customisation is greatly reduced
So we're probably looking at Sunday afternoons with 5th edition. Who is keen? We have Bots, Blitzy (one of our LoL friends) and myself. Ritchie?
https://app.roll20.net/join/762780/vEjfHQ Feel free to go in there and use /gmroll to make your rolls. Just be sure to make it clear what each of the rolls are for so it's easy for me to check. You'll need to roll 4d6d1 six times, one for each ability score. NOTE: These may not be final, as I'll be adjusting them up or down so that we don't have people rolling too well or too badly and making it really boring for everyone involved. Just let me know through VM/PM/here once you have made those rolls and I'll give you your final scores. If you've chosen your class already, you can also roll for your starting wealth. The roll you need to make is listed in a table on page 143 of the PHB. Only book you'll need is the 5e Player's Handbook. Let me know if you have trouble getting one. Would be nice if we got a discussion going about the types of characters you want to play or the type of campaign/world you want to play in. Can always PM me if it's something you want to keep private.
DnD doesn't have a SRD like pathfinder does, but you can always acquire a copy from pirate bay :ninja:
