Even if it was cheaper I'd still use a PDF because it's so much easier than having to flick through a book.
What time NZ were you guys gonna do this? (or AEST if your want to do the convert for me) I'll be unavailable for about a month but I am so keen to do this!
You can take feats instead of the ability score improvement when you reach certain levels. I think the only way to get a feat at level 1 is if you're playing the human variant.
I was thinking 2-6ish (12-4 AEST) depending on what's happening. If that works out you can always join us after we've started the campaign. We're not starting until the 26th anyway.
I've been looking around and it seems that most house rules that many people use are class related so I don't really want to touch those. Only general one I've seen has to do with rests. I think I'll use the standard rules around that for now and we'll see how it plays out.
That works with me too. I just prefer the 2-6 because it means even if we have to go a little bit over it still won't be too late in case people have to go for dinner or w/e.
That would be absolutely perfect for me, deadset. And I would probably be available week 2 although week three would maybe be better.
