Lucky bastard. Is it pumping for new years over there? I am thinking of spending New Years over in Australia but really have no clue where to go.
I wikipedia'd it as well. I sort of get how the game is played but the positions still confuse me (I'm guessing everyone can move anywhere). I even watched a few Youtube videos. I laugh everytime the refs signal a goal. I'll just wing it like I do with most things.
It's a retarded game :ninja: When we played it at school no one had any real idea how to play so we all just crammed around the ball
yeah new years is huge in some places. come to melbourne and go to one of the 3 day music festivals. they are monster.
No wonder you think it's a retarded game if you all cram around the ball. Watch some match highlights on YouTube, but try to get it to a single match so you can see more passages of play and understand what it's like - not just a best marks of 2009 video or something like that.

Yeah, i am so keen. The one over here in Gisborne is alright but i bet it wouldn't compare to the ones in Australia.
not sure. i've been to falls which is why im trying out pyramid this year. Falls was pretty amazing though
Gisborne so can't handle R&V. Takes a good 45 minutes to get into a shop only to find once you're in it's all out of the thing you need when it's on.
they were pretty decently priced at falls iirc. Bacon and Egg sandwich for brekky for $2.50. Beers were $4. Spirits $6.
