yeah.. i have been training my youths in fielding (fresh recruit for 3-4 weeks) and then to their bowl/bat tech for another 4-5 weeks.. Lets see how he fairs up
I haven't had a decent youth pull in what seems like an eternity now. I could really use the money as well.
I wonder if selecting certain countries slightly increases/decreases your chances of a better youth pull. Someone must have looked into it at some point.
Same here. Well it seems that ever since I cut my youth academy funding, my youth pulls have been getting worse and worse. I even got one that was worse than the fillers FTP gives you. I seem to remember being told that youth funding has a marginal impact on youth pulls.
Nope. All even. I've been moderately lucky over time with YPs. Had a 630K one last season and a 300K one & 2x100K ones in S15. Not much inbetween however. Affiliate's had one good one over time.
I sold two youth pulls just under a year ago for 150k. Outside of that, there hasn't been many good ones at all.
Destroyed by Starris yet again today. Will I ever beat him? Also in serious need of a good pull as my Youth team is mighty thin atm.
Sorry dude - you got MVP which was well deserved! on the pull front I've had two sellables this season and one or two from the last... current guy is sitting at 19k and sells in an hour or so... hoping he geos for more than that though. Todays pull was laughable though. Still happy to get some absolute rubbish as long as I get a few gems too.
I am edging closer to you in the ratings game though, which is a plus. Might have to actually buy some players this year as I'm struggling in my leagues.

What's your strategies with youth pulls? Do you aim for what your side needs, or for what the market "wants"? I just go general and hope for the best.

Anyway, gonna train this bloke in bowling a bit, so he can do a job in youths and won't sell for anything at the end of the day anyway.
I always go spin bowler, every 4 weeks seam for a change. As if you go bowler then even if they get a bit of batting it's not wasted. Often you'll go batsman and get an ord/poor bat/bowl and that 2K ratings is wasted whereas poor/ord at least the 2K batting there is semi useful. Utilises most of what you get. and if i get a WS they're worth a heap.
