Those stats favour you because of your depth. They have specalist bowlers at 8 and 9 whereas you have Bowling ARs there. The stats are very similar if you use top 7.
Why not look at the batting as a collective group of the xi though? That's how many runs each team averages per innings.
Reckon I'm a better bet for playing than Morgan, at least if the selectors actually see performances rather than potential.
Reckon this team will go close to the spoon tbh... unfortunately Stickies might be down there this season too
Looked at his account, looks like he has. Didn't post a contract though which explains why I doubted it.
I reckon that the Stickies will surprise. Denton will gun it imo and Whicker and Jacobs are proven. If Laing or Humble can consistenly produce, there's enough runs in Speirs, Parker, Alessi, Thornton to succeed.
Pretty much... Laing just needs to continue his form from last season and we'll be sweet. One of the younger batsman succeeding wouldn't hurt either... Bakkum wanting a release though kind of cancels that out of the equation though
I reckon that your team is the one that least needs all rounders. Really, there's no need to have any other allrounders in the side than Jacobs and Speirs. You'll end up playing at least one, if not two, on batting alone though, it would seem.
Yeah Morgie and Popovic will be opening in reserves but Burridge is pretty gun in OD so he could work his way into firsts for them
