    Meh, good exposure for the game. I can see why the rugby league media beat it up...

    Hate his celebrations more than anything, although people who let it all cloud their judgment a not too distant second.

    Yeah, let me first quality by saying that I hate Hayne. He comes across as an arrogant, self-centred douchebag, he plays for one of my most despised clubs, he's responsible for some of the most annoying bandwagonning and short-time over-reacting in sport (and I live in the area of his club so I hear it allllllllllllll the time), he's a poor defender and he completely ruins the structure of any team he plays in just for the off chance that he's going to dominate a game.

    That said, I agree with Benny and I think he's actually vastly under-rated by armchair experts - the top tier of knowledgeable, cynical of fans who I actually think know the most about the game (essentially, forum posters). While he is over-rated because of his inconsistency, I've seen him put in some of the most dominant individual performances to win matches I've ever witnessed - some of his games are right up there with what I've seen Johns do. If he could be a little more consistent - or even just a little more team-orientated so he didn't cost team games when he wasn't dominating - he'd deserve all the praise he gets.

    He didn't in NSW, but during the early part of his career the BRL was of a very good standard and he did absolutely dominate that.
