I thought this shit was done and dusted, haven't watched it since the season where they were meant to bring out da mothar.
Not sure how I felt about the finale. There was some stuff I liked but a fair bit I thought was shit too.
I can't say I liked the finale, but I think it did a great job of portraying how life isn't all fantastic.
Major problem was the fact that they had to rush everything so they didn't really build up any emotion, felt really detached.
Yeah the pacing was all off. There was bloody ages of Marshall and that woman in the car at the beginning of the season and then they rush through 16 years in about 30 minutes. If they'd have ended the episode with the mother dying, I could have gotten over the pacing issues, but the ending just felt so forced.
Yeah I hated them flying through the years. Instead of finishing the show with the characters we know we ended up with sadder, older versions of them Spending a whole fucking season at the wedding and then having them divorce shit me too. Although Ted and Robin eventually getting torrent saved if for me personally a little
If they'd cut it down to a one episode finale, and had it ending with Ted and the mother talking about the umbrella then I think it would have been so much better
