What a game! Goodfellow was immense. Poor game for me overall, nice little cameo with the bat but did my best to chuck it away with the ball. I suppose all of the bowlers were gives some slap.
Looked at the teamsheets and was surprised to see Gooders in reserve grade. Expected him to dominate, but maybe not this much...
BRUMBIES INNINGS JP Goodfellow 193 (154) JE Harding 79 (88) NG Scott 63 (31) S Masters 31 (18) M Deane 20 (7) not out AW George 8 (2) not out what else can i say that has not already been said?? just an outstanding performance by goodfellow and harding for an opening partnership and good hittting at the death by myself, deane, scott and george
I'm sure Callum is actually quite glad he wasn't required to bat, kind of shows our dominance in the game. And then as for his bowling.... 9 overs for 30 is good going, building pressure etc... Not like he was taken to the cleaners, he helped restrict you to a chase-able totale.
Dominance in the game? You still let us score over 300 as well you know, I wouldn't quite call it dominance.
I can see your point, but to be fair, there was no point in this match where you looked like winning it.
Haha, hope that wasn't aimed at me...I'm not a clone anymore. The font is a hint... Also, it could just have been a day for batting...
