    Yeah he didn't really take his chances in OD cricket last season. He played eleven games, opened the batting in all of them, only past 50 once and averaged 15.

    That innings will certainly put a bit of pressure on Danno though, who honestly wasn't much better.

    If Dano didn't have the reputation he does, he'd have likely been dropped last season IMO, although I think I remember him coming up with a couple of big innings when he needed them.

    edit - just looked, he averaged 45 in FC last season. Maybe I'm speaking bullshit. I'm sure he had a barren patch though.

    Danno often has barren patches but he's a proven First Class batsman. You don't drop blokes like that just because they're slightly out of form... particularly Danno given his propensity to go...

    0, 4, 5, 10, 2, 1, 0, 234, 194, 206, 4, 245, 183..

    etc.

    Different story in one day cricket though, where he's done two fifths of **** all.
