Or each team has the option to re-sign players, players willing of course. Then those that aren't signed are thrown in with new signups and a draft is conducted.
You get an option to re-sign 6 (Like Jabba said) but if you sign for you can pick someone up via FA before the Draft.

While it would be nice to have a draft, I don't see it working if people will end up not wanting to be part of their team.
Not really losing anything except your sim loses a player due to the fact my guys a shunt and would struggle to get game time so why would I take any interest
Yup, i'm losing a guy who pops his head in maybe twice a season because he's sooking that he can't completely change him player. How about you stay active so you can improve, earn your minutes and become a better player?
