    Nah, he's 2nd, close to 1st. Blicavs isn't played as a ruck, he's a utility. I don't think he played ruck at so far this year. McIntosh was an AA ruckman - so being close to 1st against him is good.

    As for 2-3 of them 'good', lol. He made a remarkable difference for us and in just 6 games made himself a staple of the side. Trent West was no world beater, but he was a premiership ruckman and his main use to use was around the ground. Simpson is excellent as winning the tap, just not elite in tapping to advantage yet. So yeah, that's a load of bullshit and if you really thought that you wouldn't have traded for him and given up your love child in Ayce Cordy.

    Vardy is seen as a forward at the club.

    Wasn't Jamar an AA ruck? No indictment of ability now esp as it was awhile ago and he's missed pretty much 2 years of footy. I would have Jacobs, Leuenberger, Krueuzer, Warnock, Ryder, Sandilands, Clarke, Mumford, McEvoy, Maric, Lobbe, Goldstein, Cox, Naitanui and Minson all ahead of McIntosh for now. 16th best ruck in the comp IMO. If he gets back to his best perhaps he'll go up to top 8-10 but we've got A LOT of excellent rucks in the comp nowadays and when McIntosh was at his peak half of them were still developing. He was good relative to the pack awhile ago. The pack has just gotten a lot better in the last 2-3 years.

    That said I really like Simpson. Like, lots. Hence why I picked him up over Nicholls in SC draft. Hence why I fapped when he slipped.

    I'm just talking from a cpl database creator point of view in saying that there's just not enough to have him as a best 22 standard ruck in this. I'll get the stats out (for curiousities sake, really) and see where he ranks for hitouts, strength and overall compared to other rucks.

    As much as I over-rate Edwards I definitely wouldn't swap him for Kreuzer. I'd be slighty interested in going a two-for-two trade.

    I've got four rucks, two of whom would be guns for most sides and two of whom would be reasonable 1st rucks for weaker sides/better than the 2nd rucks of sides who are playing 2 genuine ruckmen. Hickey can sit forward pretty ok compared to most genuine rucks and Simpson's pretty good at the tap.

    Anyway, bar Naitanui all of Ryder/Hickey/Simpson are up for trade. My wish list is

    - An elite KPF. Will add for the right player
    - A genuinely good crumber.
    - A player who was picked up in the draft *relatively* late and has since gunned it. Might mean that I accept a weaker player but if they'd be a fucking good retention pick I'm happy to take one.
