Phantoms

It's pretty obvious that we let you win.

 

So played basketball again tonight (last night I guess). We got raped in the first quarter, was 10-0 to the opposition at the end of it. Got back into the match and at the end of the 3rd quarter we were only down 29-27. So into the 4th and they have first possession. Attacker drives it in and I block the shot. Team mate rebounds and we slow it down and are all walking up court as all their guys were back playing a zone. Next minute my dipshit team mate Russell Westbrook's it from halfcourt and his shot doesn't even make it to the free throw line. Never before have I wanted to uppercut someone so badly. We ended up losing 39-35.

 

It was worse than Westbrook. There was no defender near him and no one was in a position to rebound if he misses. We had 2 guys with our back to him around the 3 on the each wing and myself and our other team mate were behind him still walking up. He just launched it for no reason. This same douche turned it over on an inbounds play with 5 minutes left because he, for whatever reason, refused to throw it to an open man right fucking beside him. He kpt looking upcourt and myself and the 2 other guys were heavily marked. Myself and my other teammates kept shouting "Pass to Stuart! Right there! Beside you! The guy in the fucking open! Pass it to him!" *launches it deep and the pass gets picked off*

 

Settle down fellas. Because you're both staying active, i'm increasing the number of minutes you guys play. I've tossed Harding out of the line up altogether due to inactiveness so that immediately opens up more minutes for you guys. Due to our near 50 point thrashing i've opted for a bigger, more defense-oriented line up this week. You guys are performing decently. You keep active and continue to improve then i'll have no choice but to keep increasing your minutes and eventually start you guys.
