Thing was though, the machine I pumped first was a five dragons also and I started on $3.00 hits on it and was playing $4.50 hits by the end of it. When I changed machines I started back at $3.00. I got 5 Eagles (or lirebirds or whatever you wanna call the big one) on the feature x 30 = $3000 then got another feature inside that one that paid about $500 odd and I took out $3500. If I started with $4.50 on the new machine the eagles would have paid $4500 on there own.
I honestly rarely have a huge win because I don't put enough money in. Virtually never play more than 2.50 hits and even that is rare.
Best time was at ACC, dollar in and 40 out. Durries and a few more drinks. Think that was with you Julian actually.
Haha. That was my local. Open until 6am we regularly got off a train after being out and went in there for another beer in the early hours.
I've never understood why its called a catholic club, I mean im no religious know it all, but I mean they are the only place around the area open pretty much 24hours serving drinks and people gambling.
Normally 6am, but I've seen them shut at 4 a couple of times. And drinks aren't served for atleast the last hour.
Lot $1 in 5 dragons, then got the feature on Indian dreaming, won nothing, went over to where's the gold, won nothing, then put last couple of bucks in jumping jalepenos, got the feature first spin, didn't really win anything though and eventually lost it all. Net position: -$3
These new pre-commitment laws are a bit of joke. If they want to discourage compulsive gambling they really ought to just pass laws making it mandatory to play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ogj5ztTE0zw over the speakers all day.
Yeah it's a joke, will costs clubs so much to implement. It's time people just took responsibilities for their actions. You want to go put your weeks wage down the pokies go ahead, but be prepared to deal with the consequences. We can rebuild.
Got $200 birthday money from my grandmother, "invested" it on the pokies just now and came out $400 richer for the experience. So I basically got $600 out of that birthday present. Patricia Bannerman/Cribb - WAG.
Chucked my $2 change in where's the gold on Saturday night with the aim to gamble it up to one more schooner. Peaked at $3.12 before dwindling to nil. Net position: -$5
