Apparently the week Ferguson and Dugan were stood down for drinking they were out drinking together.

Raiders don't want to lose them so they'll try and keep it all hush hush and being away from Sydney helps this. Sort of what would have happened with Joey and the Knights.

It's exactly what they did with Carney.

Yeah, Ferguson will be the one to take the blow for both of them though. They won't get rid of Dugan because look what happened when they finally turfed Carney.

I'd turf Dugan and just bring Sloman up from the 20s

Canberra always seem to do the sneaky sneaky.

My opinion of Dugan is pretty much the complete opposite of what it was a few years back. I remember when he was a tough cunt who didn't complain or anything. Now he's a glass fairy.

Best referees give at least one warning on certain offences e.g slowing down the ruck IMO, allows you to understand their limits.

To an extent, I can agree with a something like that in the first 5-10 mins, but after that, there should be no warnings about it.

Yeah thats what I'm talking about rather than creating messy disjointed start, it allows the players to get a feel for the boundaries and then there's no excuse when the whistles blown which obviously leads to added respect for the ref
