Round 1: Lightning FC vs Fanghunters FC @ Tlaloc Park

So game 2 of Round 1 and welcome to the new boys. Fanghunters will be looking to have a good start, however it won't be easy. They are up against last season's runners up. Lightning however are a club going through change. They lost the driving force of their team in the off season, A Kolar. While staying on as a player he will not be playing the big role he did off the pitch this season.

... He leaves the defender behind
... N_Hunt is late with that one
... I think he was just trying to get to the ball

Min. 21 : (lightning) W_Welker pushes it past M_Hayes
... But he loses control of it
... J_McGrath belts it clear

Min. 21 : (lightning) S_Cambridge pulls up
... That looks like his knee gave in!
... He won't be able to continue!

Min. 21 : (lightning) A_Kolar is being prepared to come on
... S_Cambridge is leaving the pitch
... He looks disappointed that he won't be continuing
... Looks like his replacement will play MF

Min. 23 : (lightning) J_Torres with the mazy run
... How he got through those defenders I don't know
... He sets himself up for the shot
... J_Torres hits a curling shot!
... J_Harding gets a hand to it!!
... But he picks up the rebound
... OHHHHHHHH !!
... It's pushed behind !
... CORNER!
... G_Weaver lofts the ball in!
... J_McGrath wins the ball
... And he clears the danger

... T_Giggs with the spectacular bicycle kick!

... A_Rasmussen gets the foot in to win the ball

... He sees a team mate making a run
... He plays the ball through to S_Bakkum
... But he steps on the ball and falls over!
