Season 12 Preparation for Season 13 Expansion

We'll be having the same sides in the same number next season, but injuries will be a little more frequent and fillers will be a lot worse than they are this season, so you'll need to make sure your squads are a little bigger.

This doesn't mean you should go out and sign a squad of 28 active members to be a cunt and ruin a side, but it does mean you should look to take on a couple of extra rookies or ensure you get a couple of "former guns" to sign on. Get inactive blokes to sign contracts and encourage people from other forums to join for next season, because you'll need them.

Having active members sitting out is not something I really want to see, but we need to prepare the player poor for Season 13 expansion (Lions probably). Injuries will return to current levels again in Season 13 when squads are stretched thinner again.

 

I can always make injuries even more frequent if need be. But yeah the latter is an option if we get a lot of members.

Another thing I should stress at the moment is that all the clubs are full for this season, so if a new member signs up and you think he'd fit in well with your club but you aren't sure if you could get him a game, sign him anyway. All the clubs will be in the same boat on that regard.

 

This thread isn't really about that.

If Incey wants the Lions in for Season 13 he should start planning it now properly but yeah, Season 12 will have nine teams again, but with more injuries and weaker filler options to encourage player pool growth. It's a stepping stone to having another side basically.

 

But bringing in another team will make the Vipers better!

They wouldn't even be premiership favourites this season without Gazza.

 

Played a greater percentage of BS cricket at the Ravens than the Lions tbh.

 

It really won't. You'll lose Gazza and McGrath, Allstars won't lose anyone. Gap between 1 and 2 will really close in, if not reverse.
