    They'd still be strongest if they had a proper backup first-five. Golding would go to 10, Loughman would come on at 9 probably and they'd have to rearrange their backs, but Loughman's a decent enough place kicker too.

    Club side that's it....couldn't think of the right word and just went for provincial in the end as it got the message across. If you think in terms of real life.

    In terms of real life, Seasonal Rugby is your national side and New Zealand is your provincial side.

    Nah, I get Rego's comparison. In NZ rugby, the Provinces are more akin to the SR clubs, I think.

    He probably needs to think of the Sharks more as a "Franchise" team from the Super 15.

    Things to do before start of S3...

    Vikings need to sign 3 more players before it's open season on contracts. This will give all squads at least 22 players.

    Selectors needed for reserve teams. Vikings/Spartans and Sharks/Canes. Work it out between yourselves.

    Once the above have been arranged, I will announce the schedule.

    There's a few decent unsigned players still out there. Colesy and Marto have done registrations and could challenge for first team places. Also, guys like Jeffy.

    We have a bit of depth in our forwards now (Rocks signing). Similar post counts will hopefully help us out as members will be able to contest for spots more easily in the starting fifteen.
