How people like Dave Hughes, Carl Barron and Josh Thomas have managed to make a living as comedians is beyond me.
You know when I was typing in 'Dave' it autocorrected to 'Dane'. Even my iPad knows that Dane Cook sucks.
Have always thought Sean Lock is a lot better when he's on panel shows than when he's doing stand-up. He's total class on TV, but his stand-up really isn't my thing. My favourite stand-ups at the moment are Louis CK and Dara O Briain.
Are any of you guys into comedy? Throughout this thread we can post different comics we enjoy, I'm fairly new to it but have found a bunch of good guys. The first comic I was really exposed to (by Blake) was Jim Jefferies. He's an Australian guy who has done a number of specials (Contraband, I Swear to God, Alcoholocaust, Fully Functional), and they're all great. I think you can find all but Alcoholocaust on youtube, and alcoholocaust can be torrented easily if you're into that. I would encourage you guys to purchase comedy to support to support the comedians though, especially with this $5 online comedy trend that's beginning. I'll post some other's I enjoy later, but I would encourage you guys to check out Jim Jefferies, I think most people on this forum would really enjoy his stuff. note: I apologise if we already have this thread, I did a quick search but I also did a search for 'breaking bad' and ended up finding that thread manually while browsing, so the search doesn't seem too good...

Michael McIntyre remains one of the best in the world imo. He has a clip on YouTube on soccer hooligans, it is a must watch for all stand up fans.
I think it's this. Don't have sound on my work PC so can't be sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHktMEvjojc Should be something about one bloke who is dishing out some hurt at the game.
Frankie Boyle A few of his English jokes go over my head but he's my favourite comedian atm, love him on Never mind the Buzzcocks & mock the week. <iframe width="480" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Jo2aUWfzBfE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Just went to a Jimmy Carr show this evening. Sure to be a popular choice with the CricSim populous - no topic is unsuitable for a Jimmy Carr joke.
I've seen one of his specials and a few clips online, I've got all his other specials I intend on watching some day. I like some of his jokes, he's more in the Daniel Tosh mould of just running off jokes with no segues, I prefer more the Jim Jefferies type comedian who is telling longer stories, sometimes bringing together parts of the show at different points and stuff like that.
