'They're not Cyclones....They're Cyclowns'

A Potential court case has been gathering momentum about a potential copyright infringement caused by the previously defunct Cyclones RLFC.

Members of cricsim powerhouse Cyclones Cricket Club, currently un defeated in the prestigious Bannerman Shield Cricsim competition, have today expressed their distaste with fact that they now have to share the one of simulated sports highest honours with some of the direst members around.

Some members of the Cyclones Cricket Club, who have asked to remain anonymous, had the following to say:

Rick Roll*:'It's frustrating you know? I've played for my site and my state, but having that whirling wind sewn over my heart always carried a special importance, hearing the crowd chant my name 'Wilson, Wilson, Wilson' and to look up and see a sea of light blue, has always made me lift. It's just dissapointing to have to share that with the likes of Jake'

Dixie Normas*:'To be called a Cyclone, well it's just the best, at least it was. I've got a lot of titles, Dr Emm, Duke Emm, but to see the signs in the crowd ' Let's go boys it's time to pwn, give it to Emm, the great Cyclone' it always brought that special something out in me. Now to have to share that with someone like Jake, or even worse, that Lion Benny, well it just makes you wonder what you're playing for. As foar as I'm concerned, they're not Cyclones, at best they're Cyclowns.'


These words also only tell you so much, the look on the faces of some of the other guys in the squad, they just look like they've lost their edge. Some of the current Cyclones Cricket Club members are looking at ways of beating this flaw and are thinking of a class action saying that the Cyclones tag is a club, not a franchise.

Hopefully sense prevails and we will not lose another great cricsim club to politics.
