Fuck me! that's got to be a couple g worth of shit is it all painted? What was that blood bowl business all about?
Plus it would take forever to paint the cunts. This is why chaos is a great-cheap army to run. Because the units are so expensive points-wise and they can fuck shit up too.
Not even 1/4 of it was painted I probably went about it the wrong way, starting with the highly detailed special characters, then I'd be so sick of painting I couldn't be bothered with the plebs. Then a few months later I'd be so critical of my own painting that I'd stick my dudes in turps to start from scratch again... I started collecting when I was 9 so I have a fair bit. I don't play any more though, I'd like to, but it is something you really need to get into if you want to win and have a good looking army. As for Bloodbowl, it was Warhammer Fantasy, but you played a type of NFL football. All the races had a team and you could kill players and shit like that. Was pretty fun if you just wanted something different.
Yeah last time I went into a games workshop must've been a good 8 years ago, cunts are hectic in there. Tactic books and all sorts, so much to it. You thought about selling some of your stuff? Some of the rarer special characters get some decent money on ebay.
What warhammer video games are there? Are there any on PS3 that allow you to play a campaign as different races?
Yu-Gi-Oh is played by 40 year old rapists by with no life, 10 year olds who have NFI what they're doing and 15 year olds who think they're cool. Not sure which you count as tbh.
Blood bowl has its own game (Have that), and there there's Warhammer Online (Never played, so no idea) and that Space Marine game which was OK but didn't really sell.
None of them play like warhammer though. Games Workshop wouldn't let it happen when they can get so many more sales by selling overpriced miniatures. It's one of those hobbies that I feel I would enjoy a great deal if it wasn't for the cost. Another one is tabletop gaming, but that's probably more because it'd be so hard to find a group to play with.
I would play still if I had the time. But yeah the prices are getting retarded and have been for a while. Still preferred games like Blood Bowl and Necromunda, and have NFI about recent editions of rules for most of my armies.
Blood Bowl fits into the tabletop gaming category that I'd love cause I'm a geek but can't find anyone else to play with
Depends on the amount of details, and if you're painting models one at a time. It's normally easier to paint a squad over 3-4 days and let it dry IMO. Maybe 1 hour work a day?
So get the game, its like $10. Some stores may play it, most likely GW and Vagabonds (You're in Auckland right?)
