    He'll be thirty by the start of next season. Surely the best thing for his career right now would be signing the biggest paying contract he can find for a juicy 2/3 year deal?

    Best thing is it's actually true for once, I mentioned this about a month ago... God I hope it comes through we need a hooker bad and he's the perfect one we should've never let him go.

    Wing's not really that creative when he plays dummy half TBH. I actually think he's perfect for a Pearce/Carney combination in that he doesn't look to do much ball-playing - he just foruses on giving good service, and scoots when it's a fast ruck.

    Minichiello's hardly what I'd call a chef either.

    The only issue would be Anasta's role. If you wanted to do this two or three years ago it would have worked fine but Anasta's changed his game since then; I dunno if he could just go back to being primarily a runner anymore.

    Would be ****ing awesome. Finally a Dummy half that is decent. As Cribb said, if it was to happen, Anasta would need to go. Carney, Pearce, Anasta and Wing all on the field just doesn't work.

    I don't really think Anasta, Carney and Pearce would work even without Wing, unless you tried to turn Mitchell Pearce into Michael Monaghan.

    Wing as a dummy-half is not really a ball-player. He's quality and he's dangerous but he doesn't do a lot of creative stuff there - he just keeps it simple and makes good decisions.
