    played taree panthers yestie (the other really good side in my comp) and we won 16-6 so pretty stoked and i had a pretty gun game, easily my best in a long time imo, played almost the full match too. went on after about 5-10 and played out the rest of the game and got player's player so pretty happy, put's us into outright first too iirc.

    Good shit Jimmy, you playing up front?

    yeah man, bench prop but the coach likes my aggression so i played back row for about half that game ^ when he took off one of our regular back rowers and put the other front rower who i went on for back on.

    i also had a school footy gala day on tuesday, i had to carry the team so badly haha, was so fucked i was like the only person who play's on weekends besides the 5/8 who plays on weekends but he only play's 15's. i wanted to play lock but because heaps of cunts cbf'd playing we only had 10 so i had to play prop but our "halves" couldn't kick so i had to play kick and goal kick too. i mean we scored 6 tries over the 3 games and i scored 4 of them haha. we actually won one of the 3 games too which was so funny.

    Starting in the middle again. fucking happy. have played fresh bench forward last two starts, building into the finals last 3 weeks at home which is rad.

    Jimmy to post bout his game tonight...

    if you insist ben.

    i played wingham tonight (for some reason they didn't want to play on saturday :/ ) and i started the game really well, scored a double within the first 10-15 mins and was going pretty well defensively too. but then i did something to my knee, was chasing after their hooker who's just recieved an offload and it felt like my knee went one way while the rest of my leg went the other. doesn't feel too bad now but at the time it just felt really weird, should be alright though. we ended up winning 16-6 iirc. finals coming up in a few weeks too. if we do end up winning the grand final that would be the 3rd year in a row (with 2 different clubs though unfortunately)

    <!-- paragraph types -->The Sharks won 36-32 at Regional Stadium in a match where nerves were high until the final whistle.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->When Harley Gore strolled in to score next to the posts with less than five minutes to go the Sharks looked to be home, but a late Bulls try gave the Taree team some hope with two minutes on the clock.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Classy five-eighth Sam Wara got his name on the scoresheet with two tries, along with Gore, Joel Asher, Kurt Maloney, Tyrone Nelson and Edwards Vale-Tighe.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->McKenna kicked four goals.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Maloney’s and Gore’s names also went on a list which wouldn’t have pleased them or coach Phil Trembath nearly as much. They were two of three Sharks sent to the sin bin.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Ben Read also had a 10-minute rest.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Trembath said the Sharks had to stamp poor discipline out of their game as the finals loomed.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Dissent and fighting were the main reasons the players were sat down. “It’s no good winning a fight but losing the war,”he said.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->“For 30 minutes out of 80 we were one man down.”
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Trembath said it was an insult to players like Asher, Michael Bright and Danny Graham who fight hard every week and give away few penalties.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->“We’ve got a side that’s got the ability, [but lacks discipline],” he said of the Sharks outfit.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->“Apart from Old Bar, no-one’s put us to the sword this year.”
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->It looked like it was going to be a tough day for the Sharks early on. They found themselves down 12-0 midway through the first half.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->There was further disappointment after a Sharks fightback. They looked like going into the sheds leading 22-16, but a late Bulls try levelled the scores.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Wara scored his two tries in the second half. He showed good skill in the second to put his boot to a loose ball before picking it up to score amid opposition protests.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Gore’s was the only other Sharks try of the second half.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Jarid Bruen looked like he’d found the line, but the last pass was called forward.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Meanwhile, a brave and much-improved Port City Breakers outfit fought back in the dying minutes to give Old Bar Beach Pirates a scare, but they weren’t close enough on Saturday.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->The Breakers went down 46-30 at Old Bar Reserve, after a couple of early departures took their toll.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Hooker Luke Sinclair left the field after the first five minutes and Dean Rogerson copped a bad knock but stayed on the park to battle through.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->James Jones had to go early for work commitments, leaving one on the bench for the Breakers. With 10 minutes to go the Breakers looked out of it at 40-18, but two quick tries got them right back into the match at 40-30.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->But Old Bar scored again shortly after to put the game beyond the Breakers.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Tamati Wigman (2), Luke Ackroyd, Connor Cheeseman and Mitch Fowler scored Breakers’ tries.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->Breakers captain-coach Josh Hyde was pleased to just play better than last weekend.

    “It was a much-improved performance, especially in attack,” he said.
    <!-- paragraph types -->
    <!-- paragraph types -->The Breakers now have a bye before the semi finals get underway. They will play the Port Macquarie Sharks in a big finals derby.

    My sin bin was bullshit afaic. Got tangled up in the play the ball and got given 10mins and hadn't been even penalised till that point :lol:

    because you give away atleast 1 ruck penalty per game and the refs know to look for it obv haha.

    tomorrow i play our qualifying final against forster at forster tomorrow arvo, really keen to play tbh, got 2 tries taken off me by the ref last time we played them. should be a good game and if we we win i get a chance to play in my 7th successive grand final and it'll be played at port so you have to come watch ben.
