Guitarist here. Most people don't understand what I mean when I say I can play bass... But I can't play bass.
Nothing worse than when guitarists think they can play bass better than an actual bassist, then proceed to pick one up and play a root note over and over with a pick. Bass is a really underrated instrument and is pretty much a whole new skill in itself.
May as well call this the bass thread now... Just bought a CIJ Fender Jazz bass for $600... Pretty much completes my collection of the three legendary basses (P bass, Jazz bass and the Stingray). Now I'm keen as ever to flog my Fleabass off. Still keen BigGuns?
Yeah still keen, did a little research, seems you can get them new for around $299ish. Does that sound right to you.
Also here's a pic. Those stickers should come off OK if you don't like them. I don't usually sticker my basses but it's a pretty cheap bass anyway.
Yeah i will pick up or if you're passing through logan village way that's where my old man is. Shake on $175.
Deal. Let me know next time you're passing through Toowoomba and we'll meet in there somewhere as I live slightly out of town.

Looks pretty decent. Could also get this: http://www.allansbillyhyde.com.au/prod/AETOURBUS15/Ashdown_TourBus_15_Bass_Practice_Amplifier.aspx Or you can get a little bit more power for an extra $50: http://www.allansbillyhyde.com.au/prod/AMBA108/Ampeg_BA108_25_Watt_Bass_Amp_Combo.aspx Didn't see that the Line 6 one has built in amp and effects models, that's a pretty cool feature, definitely worth the money.
Gonna get into some police this evening, some nice easy well known bass lines in a few of their songs.
