Oh yeah no doubt. I don't really know how good Strasser, Nikorima or Taylor really are, but as long as Nicholls hasn't actually declined since I last saw him play - which is unlikely as Taylor pointed out - then he's definitely worth a go over Hoffman or even the Barba/Hodges thing you tried when Hoffman was out.

    This.

    With Norths atm apparently.

    In QCup?

Cause in NSW Cup he plays for Wyong.

Although this signing likely means that Hook is at least willing to try another option at half; I don't think it bodes well for those players you mentioned.
It's not like we bought a seasoned 1st grader, we are simply stacking up on reggie halves; of which we'll probably lose 1 to 2 every off season because of the lack of opportunity.

One thing I think is Nicholl's favor is that due to the avenue he has taken to get to this point; it appears that he has a "make it or bust" attitude.

Yeah Qcup. Worded that wrong sorry.

Andrew Gee rumoured to be getting the sack tomorrow.

1 down, two more to go.

Gee's taking personal leave apparently, rather than getting sacked.

In other news, Hannant has apparently tried to get rid of Jarrod Wallace by telling him he's worth more than he's on

    Few years too late.

That's such a dog act. Idiotic by Wallace, he should know he isn't worth much.

    Story seems to be

Broncos offered Wallace 100K or something
Wallace came up to Hannant who is some kind of officer or some shit and asked him what he'd be worth elsewhere
Hannant told him (about 50% more?)
Griffin somehow found out and dropped Hannant for 1 week, with the official story at the time being "poor form".

To be fair it's hard to know for sure if Hannant was deliberately giving him bad advice or just thought he was worth more and was being a good mate.

I reckon some club would pay him that. Same situation with Lui, Manly bought him, and he wasn't any better.

  14. Magic AJ Parker

Dropping him because of that just reeks of insecurity on the Broncos be-half. Whether it's Griffin or management who made the call it's ridiculous.

It probably wasn't the only reason; but the fact it contributed to it is pretty shit. I'm sure rookie players who receive average offers would confide in senior players quite often about what they think they might be worth on the open market.

Griffin was looking for an excuse to drop him because they just don't get along, apparently. This just tipped it over the edge. Dick move

I'm over Griffin, and want Hannant gone...I'm on the fence on this issue.

    "bout time !!!

First Peter Wallace....now that useless fat cunt Gee. I dunno who's running a broom through the joint but they should be applauded.

Hopefully they do as good a job with Gees replacement as they have with the Hoffman replacing Wallace move.
