    I shot Cribb a PM about this about 2 months ago to no reply. I was thinking about running a CPL afl thing - except it'd be a permanent thing based on SC points - you'd draft your sides, trading would be all year round and matches would be played and scores done via SC points. There are plenty of these leagues around (such as here (just so y'all know what i mean but I thought it'd work well here.

    Thoughts on that?

    Yeah - FFFX games and such aren't really management, they're really luck based and offer an advantage to those who have the games. Have been involved in about 5-6 SC management games and they're awesome - should deffos have one here (whether the teams are done via draft or just allocating AFL teams randomly to save time)

    But yeah, super keen for Skips idea. Keep the same teams, and this years draft order and draft the kids up then trade etc and get ready for next season.

    Well we'd need to get support for it first. I was actually (2 nights ago in fact) thinking about PM'ing the afl posters to garner interest.

    Most seem keen on the fffx idea over this - although this will sustain itself - fffx won't - too much doubt & work for the one person

    Yeah, your idea is more fantasy though, and because SC points are pretty easy to use I think we could easily get 12 players.
