Lack of interest for this action packed sim compared to stalled sims is very disheartening, you cricsim mob a fickle bunch. Group Gamma BeastfromtheEast Matt Elliott GJ Weaver Currency Rotation Specialist I'm backing Currency Rotation Specialist here A. BeastfromtheEast V Currency Rotation Specialist Unable to decide this one on preferences so it'll go to which hand is the whistle in (which hand I beat of with) BeastfromtheEast has guessed Left and Currency Rotation Specialist has guessed Tails, as he is the least wrong he calls. Currency Rotation Specialist takes Tails, BeastfrontheEast the head. Up, up and away and down faster GYR's weight, breaking with the last pools trend we see a tail! Excellent work from Currency Rotation Specialist to secure the call. Matt Elliott V GJ Weaver remarkably we have the exact same preferences again here and both guessed I beat off right handed. The call therefore goes to Weaver for registering first. Weaver the Tail, Elliott the head. Low toss this time around, coming to rest next to my work keys. Tails running hot early seeing Weaver take the points. B. BeastfromtheEast V GJ Weaver another clash of first preferences. Weaver takes heads on second preference, East the tails of course. The Beast needing a win here to remain relevant. We're up, we're down and it's sitting on the groud. Another low toss produces yet another Tail, shaping up for a log jam headed into the last round Currency Rotation Specialist V Matt Elliott The toss decided on second preferences, Elliott opts for heads, the Specialist tails. Higher with a triple bounce landing this time, the tosser is really putting on a show so far. The coin comes to rest and we see a head! Elliott takes the points leaving one hell of a final round of group clashes. C. Round C sees the winners of each match progressing through, if tied a count back system is in place to determine who is first and who second. Currency Rotation Specialist V GJ Weaver Yet again we head to second preference. CRS staying faithful to tails, Weaver over to heads. Anticipation is building, you could cut the tension with a knife. The coin goes up and a smooth flat landing! At this time we'd like to thank our major sponsor Cambewarra Estate Wines 'don't leave it to chance, choose quality' As for the coin, we see a head! A bit of an upset there, Weaver takes the points and the Specialist will be going home early. Matt Elliot V BeastfromtheEast The final toss of Group Gamma, two competitors, one spot. Elliot going for the head on second preferences, Beast staying with tails. It all comes down to this. She flies high, nearly touching the roof before tumbling down the window sill and crashing into the tiles, reaching down behind the spare office chair reveals a tail! Beast snatches it in the dying moments. Final Standings:....................W....L BeastfromtheEast...............2....1 GJ Weaver...........................2....1 Matt Elliott..........................1....2 Currency Rotation Specilist.1....2 BeastfromtheEast takes first place on a count back on the total heads and tails tossed, due to having a tails preference over Weaver (2nd preference) and 4 tails to 2 heads being tossed he takes the cake Heads 2 Tails 4
Group Omega AJ O' Neil Bat Rotation Specialist Athlai Eggzaminator Backing AJ in on this one A. AJ O'Neil V Eggzaminator called on preferences, AJ O'Neil taking tails, Eggzaminator going out on a limb and opting for the side of the coin. Up, behind the computer and settles near the printer. Tails it is, AJ out in front early. Bat Rotation Specialist V Athlai call decided on second preference, Bat Rotation Specialist takes Tails, Athlai heads. Up into the storage cupboard door and onto the desk revealing a second tail for the round. The second of the rotation specialists looking the goods B. AJ O'Neil V Athlai Athlai takes heads, O'Neil tails on preference. Up she goes like Gemmell's cholesterol at a Sunday breakfast. Bouncing across the desk until meeting a good shot from the eraser settling the coin on a head. Could be headed for another log jam. Eggzaminator V Bat Rotation Specialist Again the Eggzaminator taking the edge of the coin, Bat Rotation Specialist takes heads, playing with fire here is Eggzaminator. Off the wall, off the safe keypad and onto the floor for another head. Eggzaminators style of playing for the draw not paying of early as the Specialist takes his 2nd win. C. Bat Rotation Specialist V AJ O'Neil O'neil looking to level with the Specialist here on two wins and takes tails on first preference. A low rolling toss into the wall gives a tail! Tying these two on top of the ladder Athlai V Eggzaminator Athlai needs the win here to put the top two to a count back. Preference sees him stick with heads as the egg goes for the side of the coin. Looping toss this time, coming to rest just short of the wall sees Tails! The crowd can't believe it, our first draw of the tournament. Sadly a draw isn't enough for Athlai Final Standings................W..L..D AJ O'Neil.......................2..1..0 Bat Rotation Specialist..2..1..0 Athlai............................1..1..1 Eggzaminator................0..2..1 Heads 2 Tails 4, O Neil with the win on countback.
We have our Quarter Finals. Q1:The Situation V Bat Rotation Specialist Q2:J Marler V GJ Weaver Q3:AJ O'Neil V Kurt Corgan Q4:BeastfromtheEast V Ince Ince Baby Quarters are again just the one toss to a match, using an Australian 20 cent piece. Interesting to note that there were 12 heads and 12 tails in all those tosses.
Oooo a bit of sledging, good for the sim. I'm thinking if I don't do the quarters now they may not be done until Monday.
Just started playing Heads/Tails sim. Simming action returns to cricsim.com with Heads/Tails Sim, a deeply compelling narrative of the league. Heads/Tails Sim is this year’s edition of gaming’s premiere pro heads/tails simulation. It offers a full buffet of gameplay, from Association, its persistent franchise-management mode, to the traditional competitive multiplayer and the cooperative Crew mode, sort of like a rec league on your computer. To all this, Heads/Tails sim adds 16 fully playable classic teams, headlined by Rusty's Currency Rotation Specialist. Ideal Player A sports fan who either has experience playing heads/ tails on some organised level or is an informed observer of the game. Why You Should Care Even if you’re just a casual sports fan who came of age during heads/tails, this really is something you have to see and experience at least once. Sports games are roundly criticised for just delivering the current year. This packs in an entire era, with a supporting cast of legends. Did they improve the main game? Absolutely. It’s virtually eradicated the canned animations that leave you helpless until they finish. You can get out of your player’s present behaviour and into what you intend to do almost instantly. This is symbiotic to the game’s refined analogue controls. The coin-handling commands have been changed for some acts, but overall it’s intuitive enough that simply focusing on the left stick for your player’s direction (or the “feel” of how he’s tossing the coin), and the right stick for your shot selection (or, after a bumper button, rotation) will combine with the new animations to deliver something smoothly realistic and, more importantly, intentional. Really, it’s that easy? Well, not really. Don’t expect to beat your man 1-on-1 with just a juke move and turbo and abuse the coin toss this year. Defence is much sharper - preternaturally so against your tossing. You’ll see a few plainly unfair turnovers. That will probably need tuning, either in your sliders (CPU Settings: Tendencies: Toss rotation) or better yet in a patch. tossing requires more attention than players have given it before, and the new right stick tossing, which I prefer, is still a little loose given the tough defence. What’s not awesome about Heads/Tails Sim? My Player, for one. You’re still graded by a drill sergeant, still underpowered in your developmental stages, still slogging through a long preamble that will be discouraging to lesser players. The story of reaching the Heads/Tails final is not the same as reaching the show in other sims. If you’ve been drafted, you’re good enough to play. I’d rather get on with that, and see the new role-playing aspects such as news conferences and product endorsements. What about multiplayer? This has been an ongoing problem for simming on cricsim.com. It’s something we’ll follow but it’s too early to tell. On launch day, the game was managing huge numbers on both consoles and there were some connection issues, particularly in quickmatch. Join It If you’re at all a sports fan. If you haven’t picked up any sim action in a year or two, now is the time to return. HGM's presence makes the game almost heirloom quality. Don’t Join It If you don’t have and have never had any interest in simming. With HGM, Heads/Tails sim has made a broadly appealing game, but its basis is still simulation-quality Heads/tails, which will be most fun for those who can recognise the star performers and legends, and who know how a team plays together. The Bottom Line Like its title star, Heads/ Tails sim is a transcendent performer. Even in your worst moments, you will still feel a part of something bigger than just your player, or game going on at the moment. The staggering amount of detail, polish and new content – all of it, by the way, included with the retail price – raises the bar for what the public will expect from sports gaming’s showpiece simming titles in years to come. It is, quite rightly, the greatest heads/tails simming game of all time.
I must admit it was there for you to win. Also at Rusty's write up. Is that from one of the NBA games?
