The least involved/interested I've ever been in the J's. spent most of my time on abc radio , getting old. Still a fair few good songs though, just don't really know who they're by Is it a banger my number 1 I guess
Stolen Dance is an awesome song. Milky Chance are legit. So many awesome songs. Down by the river, Fairytale and Flashed Junk Mind to name a few but the whole album is awesome. Gutted they're coming to NZ in Jan (when work is the busiest).
Estimating that I'll get 6/7 of these in the Hottest 100. Can't wait for Aus Day. My #1 prediction is Stolen Dance, #2 Cosby Sweater, #3 High.
Flashed Junk Mind > Stolen Dance IMO. Stolen to be top 5, along with ALT J - Hunger of the pine and Every other freckle(Both top 10 i would guess). I got a feeling Take me to church by Hozier will be a late bloomer on the Js(or at least the commercial listeners that join in the voting). Personally you can tell me more about King Gizzards "Hot Wax", Sia "Chandelier"(I know, but that thing she does with her voice at LIEEREERERR is SOMF shit),DMA'S "Delete" is currently topping my list of most consistent favourite. I just never expect them to be so good. Every time. Julia Stone deserves to be there for "Death Deifying Acts"(Happy to see any of her leads from the album make it. Strong female vocals melt me. Id put money on Chet winning. Eh. #Notshit Would love to see Augie March chart but probably not. If Nicki Minaj "Anaconda" Don't and the hater's hate hate hate hate I've got no fucking idea.
Stranger in Moscow cover by Tame Impala is probably the best thing I heard this year going through it properly.
