Fuck, that'd be a gig I'd be glad to go and see. John Squire [metaphorically, I guess?] ejaculating over the back of his guitar as he plays I Am The Resurrection. Seems highly unlikely they'll come to NZ. Might have to do a jet-setting excursion over to Aus though. Hmmm. Mind you, looks like I'll be in the UK next May... Double hmmm.
The Parlor Mob have taken a turn for the worst with their new album that goes from having a horrible modern pop rock sound to at the best of times one of those stupid american post grunge/alternative metal bands you always hear on The Rock FM. After hearing their first album I thought they were very out of place being signed to Roadrunner Records, however it's easy to see they fit in quite well over there now. There are no more softer songs with the Led Zep influence like "Can't Keep No Good Boy Down" and "Everything You're Breathing For."

New album from The Bats is out! I wonder where I can get it from on CD, now that Real Groovy has gone under. And they tour here for the Flying Nun 30th Anniversary tour in November. Jizzing over the reformation of the Subliminals with them supporting the Clean on the 18th November. I'm there, bitches.
I quite like the new Black Keys single. I haven't gotten anyone to agree with me yet but I hear faint Chili Peppers sounding bits in the song, also ahs a very gun video.

Maybe not quite there. Overrated on first play through. Paradise, Charlie Brown, Hurts like Heaven, Us against the World and Up in Flames are all really good.
It seems like every year that someone i know goes on about how last years music was better. But for me each year is better. Mainly because each year i broaden my searches for music. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-8YrrkDvZ-8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> BRILLIANCE. Soon to be released!
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/cE4ItO2bNj4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Really like their new album, although it has many sounds it reminds me of the Hold Steady and Reigning Sound fused together.
Dunno about release dates, but these are my summer relaxin' jams negros. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WTFp6ZTQ0Ow" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/C6S9R_X4APA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Va1XXHxWVhU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/v0NPlrhINxI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/d6azy4Ep_Os" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qMqlqkQB000" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
