The kick to Lomax got a bit overdone after a while, especially when he had the obvious variation of Crichton on Hammer to exploit, or setup a kick in behind when they kept rushing up in defence. On both edges nsw had an obvious advantage of Crichtons and they didn't manage to use either of them properly, both got one opportunity each and almost scored off it.

Moses' bigger boot definitely played a role though. Still have no idea why Walsh is kicking.

We're fine for middle forwards. Slater just didnt pick enough of them. It's edge players of Origin quality we're light on if anything imo.

Tino, Collins, Carrigan, Hopgood, Cotter, Fotuaika, Flegler(?) and Arrow are all up to Origin in the middle. Below them you've got Jensen, Welch, Horsburgh, Gilbert and then some real smokies.

On the edge we literally have Fifita and Nanai who are Origin quality with the latter being an impact player. Su'a could be good but played like shit this year. Capewell and Piakura arent Origin players imo.

Billy's packs got progressively worse with each game and Maguire's got better each game. Big part of why we lost last night imo.

Te Kura is the next Haas anyway lol....hopefully. Incidentally Haas deserves a bloody medal for playing the way he has this series after what his parents have done.

Shocking isn't he, always been a bizarre choice for a skipper, fish rots from the head etc. Never seemed very intelligent and seems to switch off for large chunks, especially for Manly.

Klein's ruling on that was absolutely farcical. No one should've been binned except Cameron Murray and the penalty had to be ours. There was nothing in the niggle between DCE and Luai. Or the other two odd scuffles during the match.

Bench players running in is one of the most dangerous things you can do on a footy field. Seen too many times it lead to crowd members getting involved and then real, actual violence.

It makes zero sense for Nanai to cop the same punishment being on-field. They are not remotely the same thing. Quite rightly Murray and Haumole have been suspended for 2 games.

Klein awarding the pen to NSW was outrageous, but ehh that was the story of most of the first half.

He doubled down in the most match press conference too, he and Billy just whinged about rub of the green and Walsh getting hit after passing the ball.

I’d been saying all week never seen Queenslanders so rattled leading into the game, they struggled to control their emotion.

No sin bins required, there were 4 bench players involved. 2 from NSW and 2 from Qld, are you really advocating for an 11 on 11 because of a scuffle? Embarrassing.

I had no issue with the penalty, Luai is competing for a live ball. DCE throws the first open palm to the face of Luai. Nanai also clearly escalates as Sam Thaiday man in.

Preferably woudl’ve been happy with no penalty and no sin bin, just play on but if you’re looking at instigation and escalation they were both by Qld players.

    :nopity:

I was surprised they didn’t just flat out sub Walsh off for Ponga. He seemed to be struggling with the physicality of the game last night.

The fight went to the Qld bench and sideline staff. Not the other way around as was the case with Murray etc.

Of course you see it that way. You have no idea what you're talking about and to stick up for Klein's adjudication on this instance is beyond laughable, given how awful he was all series.

Dont ever get involved in junior sport in any capacity. 2 weeks for the pair of them and rightly so.

The fight went to the QLD bench as a defence of them getting involved is peak delusion. Poor Kafusi just had players collars falling in his lap

You’re either against bench players getting involved or you’re not. The fight went to the Qld Bench

The vision is there for all to see. Open your eyes. You're not against it at all. Thats very clear. Only people who have no idea about what that can escalate into would be saying what you're saying.

And it's telling. As i said we dont need people like you involved in sport especially juniors, sweetheart.

Once again, you go down a stupid line, and cant back away now. Keep going.

Penalty should've went against Nanai for turning it into what it was. Before that it was just a one-on-one pushing crap. Murray only came in cause it came over the sideline into the qld bench and he didn't do anything anyways. But that would involve a common sense ruling.

Get off the moral high horse. If you’re really about condemning bench players getting involved then be consistent with it… do it for the children.

    This is so good.

Whatever pain killers the poor bastard Cobbo had taken pre-game would’ve been knocked out of him in that first carry.
